Estimates, not guarantees

The calculators and guides on SewCalc provide estimates based on standard sewing and quilting practice. Fabrics, brands, patterns and techniques vary, and measuring and cutting decisions remain yours. Always verify amounts against your own pattern and measurements before buying fabric or cutting it. SewCalc accepts no liability for fabric bought, cut or sewn on the basis of a result from this site.

Using the site

You are welcome to use the calculators for personal and commercial sewing projects, and to link to any page. Please do not copy the calculators, text or design wholesale, scrape the site, or attempt to disrupt it, including its feedback and contact endpoints.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.
